Selected product screens · Production work
Ticketing that works at the door.
These screens follow the venue workflow from sign-in and event selection through live QR scanning, manual lookup, ticket redemption, and guest passes.
01 / Challenge
What needed to change
Venue staff need fast, unambiguous scanning under pressure, while a long-lived app must keep pace with changing platform and Expo requirements.
02 / Approach
How I worked
- Built Guest Pass, scanner audio and haptics, press-and-hold redemption, used-ticket counts, and event UX improvements.
- Migrated offline storage from a local Mongo implementation to AsyncStorage and introduced explicit connectivity handling.
- Led Expo upgrades from SDK 49 through 53 and maintained EAS profiles and release readiness.
03 / Outcome
The result
A clearer scanning workflow, a simpler storage layer, and a maintainable app that continues to ship across iOS and Android.
